To mark the opening of the exhibition “THIS IS NOT GRAFFITI” at the SPOT gallery on Calle Loíza, the multidisciplinary collective felizxsiempre studio—comprising artists Nelson Selek, Luis Jaime Betancourt, and Keenan Fermaintt—challenges traditional perceptions of urban art. Drawing on two decades of experience in graffiti and visual arts, the trio presents an immersive installation that fuses their distinct styles: from Selek’s psychedelic spaces and Betancourt’s dystopian realms to Fermaintt’s fantastical characters. The exhibition not only celebrates years of innovation and collaboration but also proposes a recontextualization of the urban environment, translating the signature group dynamics of the graffiti world into a gallery format.
